The annual CUPA (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action) calendars are up for sale this week. The pictures this year too were shot by ace photographer Ramya Reddy and feature Indian dogs and the people who’ve made them part of their lives. The photographs capture typical moments in the lives of community dogs, like a fat puppy sitting beside a roadside vendor’s stack of red tomatoes and an old mongrel curled up on the seat of an unused cycle-rickshaw.
Priced at Rs. 200 each (plus postage), funds raised from the calendar sales will be routed to the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (WRRC), Bannerghetta. Call 0-99001 72527 or email gopishankar@gmail.com to place an order.
