The 11th edition of SRM’s Milan, an international cultural fest, will take place from March 7 to March 11 and will see students participating in nearly 130 events. The five-day cultural extravaganza will be inaugurated by actor Vijay Deverakonda, who recently starred in the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy .
With around 500 colleges expected to participate, the fest has ‘Live the Change’ as the tag line. Among the highlights of the fest is a live-in concert by composer Amit Trivedi. A fashion show, the ‘Vogue way’, as well as a comedy night, starring Rahul Subramaniam and Sorabh Pant, will also take place. An EDM concert by ‘Nucleya’ has also been scheduled.
Range of events
Students can participate in a range of events from street plays, poetry writing and fusion vocals to debates and instrumental music, as well as a host of sports, including football and basketball. In the run-up to the fest, a social responsibility event, ‘Butterflies’, was organised for children from government schools. As part of this initiative, the students were taken around the college and they got to have interactions with college students on better learning methods.
