10,000 e-seva centres to issue engg. application forms

The sale of application forms for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission for 2016 will be done only online and candidates can approach any of the over 10,000 e-seva centres in the State, Anna University Vice Chancellor M. Rajaram announced on Wednesday.

“Aspirants to seats in engineering colleges offered through single window counselling by Anna University will have to download the forms and apply online. Application forms will not be sold by the university,” he told reporters here.

As many as two lakh seats are expected to be filled through counselling.

University had launched online process last year, and according to university sources 10 per cent of the forms were bought online.
