A 25-year-old youth driving an SUV ran amok at Koramangala on Friday afternoon. He rammed into other vehicles near Forum Mall to escape a constable. He was apprehended in Madiwala after a chase.
Police sources said that the driver, Vinod, is from Chennai. He rammed into a car near UCO Bank junction. When a constable tried to stop him, he sped away ramming into another car, an autorickshaw and two bikes in the process. He sped towards Madiwala checkpost where two constables, who were alerted by their counterpart at Koramangala, tried to stop him. Vinod then entered a guest house, where he was cornered. He got out of the car and flashed a knife, but was soon overpowered.
