An incident in which a boy dressed like a girl barged into a girls’ hostel in Malur town came to light nearly six days after it took place. The boy allegedly entered the government-run hostel in Malur on the night of August 17 and shared a bed with the girl inmates. Some of the girls felt embarrassed when he touched them. As soon as the girls screamed, he fled the scene.
Superintendent of Police, Kolar, has asked Malur police to probe the incident after the hostel warden filed a formal complaint with the police on Wednesday.
