A man in his late twenties was arrested on Wednesday on charges of raping a 7-year old girl at her house in Kamakshipalya. The accused Srinivas was apparently the son of the domestic help, who was hired by the victim's family. While the incident allegedly took place on July 27, it came to light two days later after the family found out and filed a police complaint. The Kamakshipalya police have registered a case of rape and are investigating further.
