Around 280 women police personnel from the east division gave a guard of honor to senior officials, as part of the exclusive parade for the women force, in CAR grounds in Adugodi on Friday.

Officials interacted with the personnel and held a grievance redressal meet for them.

Additional Commissioner of Police (East) P. Harishekaran said that the grievances of the officials would be brought to the notice of the Commissioner of Police to resolve the issues.

A police officer said that it felt good that the department was "giving us this honour" and added that the effort boosted their morale.
