A gang of three unidentified men, who came on a scooter, threatened two women working in a bar with a knife and robbed one of them of a gold chain in Adugodi in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Neha (20) and her friend, who work in the Ladies Bar and Restaurant, had returned home at 1.30 a.m. and later decided to walk down to a hotel nearby to have dinner, when they were robbed, police said.
Three men who were on a scooter threatened them with a knife and snatched away a 15 gram gold chain from Neha and fled from the scene.
Neha later lodged a complaint with Adugodi police, who are now trying to find out if the incident was recorded in any of the CCTV cameras nearby. They are also analysing the traffic camera feed of the nearby circle to identify the vehicle used in the robbery. A case has been registered.
