A 27-year-old woman allegedly hanged her two children before killing herself at her house in Kaveri Nagar at Mahadevapura on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Veena, her six-year-old daughter, Rashi, and two-year-old son, Harshith.
A native of Hoskote, Veena married Krishna, an employee of a bar-and-restaurant in 2009. The incident came to light when Krishna returned from work at around 4. 30 p.m. to find the door locked from inside.
He broke open the door with the help of neighbours to find the three bodies. Krishna rushed them to a near-by hospital, where the doctors declared them as brought dead.
The Mahadevapura police shifted the bodies to Bowring Hospital for post-mortem.
The police suspect that domestic violence could be the reason but are waiting to to question Krishna to ascertain the exact reason.
