A 45-year-old woman was found murdered in Taverekere in Madiwala on the outskirts of the City on Wednesday. Police said the woman, who had been employed in a bakery, was found dead with multiple injuries on her body near her house. The police found her body disrobed and suspected that assailants had raped her before killing her.
The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the motive behind the murder. The police are also questioning the neighbours and family members to investigate where woman was last seen.
