Woman arrested for duping motorists off valuables

The Subramanyapura police arrested a woman and recovered gold valubles worth Rs. 10 lakh from her.

The accused would ask for a drop from motorists and after getting into the car, rob them of their valuables threatening to file rape cases against them.

Fearing police complaint, the motorists handed over the valuables, but one of the victim approached the police. Based on the complaint the police tracked down the accused, Aishwarya, and arrested her on charges of robbery and blackmail.
