Residents of Yelahanka Old Town and nearby areas now have a reason to cheer. They no longer need to depend on borewell and private water tankers.

The BWSSB, in a release, said that water supply will be provided to Yelahanka Old Town, Attur Layout, Sanjeevininagar coming under Ward Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 7 of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike.
Residents of these areas may apply through simplified application forms and obtain water connections.
They may submit the application forms along with relevant documents to the water supply sub-division at Yelahanka.
The release said that the work of commissioning of feeder mains and sub-feeder lines in the areas of other old CMC areas under BBMP is on and is likely to be completed within next 15 days. Details may be obtained from BWSSB website, >www.bwssb.org.
