In view of Gujarat Chief Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangalore on Sunday and the public rally at Palace Grounds, the traffic police have imposed the following restrictions which would be in place from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the day.

City to International Airport: Commuters proceeding to Benguluru International Airport would have to go via Basaveshwara Circle (Chalukya Circle), Old High Grounds police station and take a left turn at the junction before proceeding to Windsor Manor junction, Cauvery theatre junction and turn right at Bhashyam Circle to reach Sadashivnagar police station junction and Mehkri Circle.

They may also go through M.G. Road, Kamaraja Road, Wheelers Road, I.T.C. Bridge, turn left at Banasawadi Main Road to reach Bangalore Outer Ring Road, Hennur Ring Road junction, turn right at Nagavara junction and proceed towards Thanisandra Main Road, turn left at Kattigenhalli and turn right at Bagalur Cross to reach International Airport Road.

International Airport to East and South-East Bangalore: Commuterswould have to go via Hebbal flyover and take a left to touch Nagavara junction, proceed towards Tannery Road, Hennur Ring Road junction, Ramamurthy Nagar, and on towards K.R. Puram

International Airport to West, South and Northern parts of Bangalore: Commuters would have to go throughHebbal flyover (down ramp) and take a right turn towards Kuvempu Circle (BEL Circle) and via New BEL road to Sadashivnagar police station junction, turn left towards Maramma Circle and onto Margosa Road, K.C. General Hospital junction, Swasthik Circle, Ananda Rao Circle and on towards Gandhinagar.

Routes to Palace Grounds

Those coming from Mysore road would have to travel via Nayandanahalli, Summanahalli, turn right at Tumkur Road to proceed towards Goraguntepalya junction, turn left towards BEL and on to Outer Ring Road and Hebbal flyover.

Those travelling from Tumkur Road would have to take aright turn towards Goraguntepalya junction and turn left towards BEL and on towards Hebbal flyover.

Commuters travelling via Kanakapura Road, would have to turn left at Outer Ring Roadjunction, proceed towards Kadirenahalli, Padmanabhanagar Junction, PES College junction and on towards Nayandanahalli, Summanahalli and turn right at Tumkur Road, turn left at Goraguntepalya junction and proceed towards BEL on to Hebbal flyover.

From Bannerghatta road commuters would have to turn left toward Puttenahalli underpass, proceed towards Kanakapura road, turn left at Ring Road junction, towards Kadirenahalli, proceed towards PES College junction, Nayandanahalli, turn right at Tumkur Road, turn left at Goraguntepalya junction to reach Hebbal flyover; or travel via Jayadeva flyover from Bannerghatta Road then take a right turn to reach Silk Board junction, Marathalli, Nagavara and Hebbal flyover.

Those travelling from Hosur Road can proceed via Silk Board junction, Marathalli, Hennur junction towards Hebbal flyover. From Old Madras Road commuters would have to travel via K.R. Puram hanging bridge, Hennur junction, Nagavara junction and on towards Hebbal flyover.

Commuters travelling from Bellary Road can proceed via Devanahalli, Chikkajala, Kogilu junction, Kodigehalli gate, Hebbal flyover.

Those commuting via Doddaballapur Road would have to proceed through Major Unni Krishnan Road junction, take a right turn at Yelahanka Police Station junction to reach Yelahanka bypass junction, Bellary Road and on towards Hebbal flyover.
