Want to headbang?... Head to Bangalore Open Air

As many as eight Indian bands and at least four international bands will perform at the annual heavy metal concert G-Shock Bangalore Open Air which will be held on Saturday at the Royal Orchid Resort, Yelahanka.

Performances will include the Polish death/trash metal band Vader, Swedish melodic metal group Soilwork, Canadian band Skull Fist and Egyptian-American music band with Nader Sadek.

The eight bands from across the country, pre-selected through a competition, will also get a chance to perform live at the venue.

“Bangalore Open Air (BOA) attracts all kinds of metal music fans including black metal, death metal, power metal, thrash metal and gothic metal and has become India’s biggest heavy metal festival,” said Salman U. Syed, Bangalore Open Air.

Members of Vader, who were present at a press briefing on Friday said that they were excited to be performing at the concert. The list of Indian bands that will perform at ‘BOA 2016’ includes Godia, Gaia’s Throne, Corpulent Deformity, Vidyut, Jammers Graveyard, Rectified Spirit, Godless, and Kryptos.
