Unsure of making the cut

The announcement of NEET has given a jolt to many students, who now feel they may be unable to make the cut this year. In extreme cases, students are planning on giving up or postponing their dream to pursue MBBS. Rajat Maheshwari, a class 12 student of BGS National Public School, said, “My entire focus was on CET, though I had also applied for AIPMT. Although the concepts are the same for both exams, the national-level test will be tougher than CET.” Officials point out that AIPMT has negative marking for a wrong answer, while CET does not.
