May 14, 2010 02:27 pm | Updated 02:27 pm IST - BANGALORE:

The Second Division I League encounter between Vasco Sports Club (Goa) and local side Hindustan Aeronautics SC (HASC) at the Bangalore Football Stadium saw action both on field as well as on the stands here on Thursday.

As they watched the Goan players shoving and heckling the match referee, Amjad Khan Mansoori, the crowd, supporting the home team, got into the act, venting their anger at the Vasco players by flinging chairs and water bottles onto the field. Seeing matters get out of hand, Karnataka State Football Association members escorted the on-field officials out.
