Police said that Vigneshwaran, a resident of Tamil Nadu, had come to the city early morning and was received by Raju, who lives near Munekolalu. While they were crossing the road near the Spice Garden bus-stop, an unknown vehicle hit them, killing them on the spot.

The police are trying to trace the driver and the vehicle.
