Two Pune residents killed in an accident near Kolar

Two persons were killed and two were injured in a road accident on National Highway 75 under Kolar Rural Police limits on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred when a car in which the victims were travelling rammed a stationary truck near Chaldaganahalli around 7.45 a.m.

The police gave the name of the deceased as Rajendra Maruti Dhavale (38) and Rajesh Thor (49), residents of Pune in Maharashtra. The injured are Subhash Lakshman Shindhe, personnel manager of a private hospital,and Maruti Prakash Dhavale. Both of them have been admitted to R.L. Jalappa hospital on the outskirts of Kolar.

All the four were returning to Pune from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh when the accident occurred.

The Kolar Rural police have registered a case.
