Two persons end lives in city

A 23-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging at her residence in new extension in Byatarayanapura on Tuesday.

The deceased, Shubha, reportedly ended her life in her bedroom, while her mother-in-law was watching television in the hall, the police said.

She left a note stating she was taking the extreme step owing to personal reasons and no one was responsible for it.

Shubha had married provision store owner Deepak Kumar two-and-a-half years ago.

The police are investigating.

Garments employee

In another case, a garment factory employee committed suicide by consuming poison at his house in Hosaguddadahalli on Tuesday.

According to the police, the deceased, Dilip, who is from Uttar Pradesh, was spotted frothing at the mouth by neighbours.

The Byatarayanapura police found a suicide note in which Dilip said that nobody was responsible for his death. He requested the police to get the contact numbers of his family from his identity card and inform them.
