Two more crewmen of stricken liner arrive

January 22, 2012 09:48 am | Updated October 18, 2016 03:22 pm IST - BANGALORE:

Two more crew members of the wrecked Italian cruise liner, Costa Concordia, arrived at the Bengaluru International Airport on Saturday morning from Dubai. This was the third group of survivors to land here after the ship ran aground off the coast of Italy on January 13.

Rajasingham Krishnan from Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu and Wilson Andrew Fernanadez from Karwar in Uttara Kannada were in no mood to talk to the media, preferring to head straight home instead.

Mr. Krishnan's family members drove from Dharmapuri to pick him up. Mr. Fernandez took a flight to Goa from where he planned to get to Karwar by road.
