Two construction labourers were allegedly murdered in separate incidents on Saturday.
Srinivasa (23), a resident of Varthur, was found dead in Narayana Layout in Sarjapur on the outskirts of the city. Srinivasa returned home late on Saturday before joining his friends. He was missing since then.
On Sunday morning, joggers noticed the body with the head crushed with a boulder, and informed the police. The Sarjapur police have taken up a case.
In another incident, a 65-year-old labourer was found murdered near Mattikere bus-stop in Yeshwanthpur. Mohana, who works in a tiles factory, was a resident of Gokula in Yeshwanthpur. He was headed home after visiting his daughter's house. Police said Mohana was found drunk and suspect that a drunken brawl could have led to the murder.
