Two killed in separate accidents

A 14-year-old boy was killed and another was injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus knocked their bicycle down on Uttarahalli Main Road on Sunday evening.

The deceased Waseem, an eighth standard student, was returning home with his friend, Tousif, when the incident occurred.

The bus knocked them down while they were trying to cross the road. The injured boys were rushed to NIMHANS where the doctors declared Waseem brought dead. Tousif, who sustained severe injuries, is being treated at the hospital. The Kumaraswamy Layout traffic police is investigating the case.
