Two killed in road accidents

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city. According to police, the first accident was reported on Sunday night at the Cubbon Road junction after cyclist Mustafa (65), a resident of Neelasnadra, was peddling on the road when a car knocked him down. He suffered head injuries and was killed on the spot. Police have arrested the car driver and seized the car.

In the second accident, a motorcyclist was killed on the spot at Jalahalli Cross when his vehicle collided with a load autorickshaw on Monday morning. The police have identified the deceased as Naveen (25) of Nelamangala, who had come to Bengaluru for some personal work.
