Two killed in road accident

A 45-year-old autorickshaw driver and his assistant were killed on the spot when a speeding Andhra Pradesh-bound bus collided with their vehicle in Hosakote on the outskirts of the city on Thursday night.

The deceased Sampangi and Manoj (34) were heading to their village, Hindaganala, transporting fodder for the cattle. The accident occurred near Tarabanahalli Gate, when the bus heading towards Madanapalli from Bengaluru collided with the auto, killing the two on the spot. The Nandagudi police have taken up a case and are investigating.
