The HSR Layout police have detained a man and a teacher of a madrasa for allegedly chaining three minors at the madrasa for being naughty.

A few neighbours, who noticed this, informed the police, besides showing them video clippings of the incident. A team of police rushed to the madrasa and rescued the children. The police have detained the children’s father and the teacher for enquiry.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the children were being naughty at home and refused to go to the madrasa. Police sources said the father sought the help of the teacher and chained the children.
