Two found dead on bank premises

A bank employee and a security guard were found dead in two separate incidents on Saturday morning.

Suresh (42), working as a clerk with a bank on Kasturba Road, was found hanging in the bank’s restroom on Saturday morning by a canteen employee. Police suspect that he was in inebriated when he took the extreme step.

Investigations have revealed that he had a bitter tiff with his wife on Friday morning over his alcoholism and he had not returned home on Friday night.

Cubbon Park police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating.

In another incident, a security guard deputed on night shift at R.T. Nagar Cooperative Bank was found dead on Saturday morning.

The deceased, in his mid-forties, has been identified as Thimmaiah.
