Two foreign nationals arrested for drug peddling

Officials of the Central Crime Branch on Friday arrested two Nigerian nationals from their house in Maruthi Nagar in Yelahanka and recovered cocaine and LSD worth ₹1.2 lakh from them.

According to the police, the accused Chukwanonso (41) and Frank Oneyadeka (34), who were overstaying after their visa expired, had forged documents to obtain SIM cards to run a drug racket.

The accused were arrested earlier by K.R. Puram police on similar charges. After obtaining a bail, the duo continued to peddle drugs, a senior police officer said.

The two have bee booked under NDPS Act and remanded to judicial custody.
