Two children were killed when the wall of their house collapsed on them in A.K. Colony in the city’s Domlur area in the early hours of Saturday.

Tanuj Kumar (12) and his brother, Manoj Kumar (14), were sleeping in their house when the wall collapsed, trapping them underneath the debris.

The death of two children comes a day after three persons including a couple died in two separate wall collapse instances in Bangalore on Friday.

Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot in Domlur on Saturday to rescue them. However, the boys had already died. Their mother, Nagarathnamma (36), who was also sleeping in the house sustained minor injuries.

The bodies were taken to Bowring Hospital for post- mortem.
