Even as supporters and admirers of IAS officer D.K. Ravi are expressing grief and disbelief over his mysterious death, B.K. Bannappa, a retired librarian from Sedam in Kalaburagi district, is busy giving finishing touches to his much-delayed book on the popular officer, D.K. Ravi – Maadari IAS Adhikari .

Mr. Bannappa, who had started writing the book in 2012 when Ravi was serving as the Assistant Commissioner in Sedam, had earlier planned to release the book in May. He is now all set to release it in the second week of April.
