Transgender candidates poll over 400 votes each

Chandni, the transgender candidate, who contested from Narasimharaja constituency in Mysore, managed to secure 419 votes. She fought the elections on a Bharatiya Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Janata Party ticket. Of the 419 votes, six were postal ballots.

In Gandhinagar constituency in Bangalore Urban, Soumya, another transgender candidate, who contested on a Bahujan Samaj Party ticket polled 441 votes.
