Traffic snarls on Mysuru Road

Traffic on the busy Mysuru Road was blocked since morning due to the annual Pallakki Utsava at Gaali Anjaneyaswami temple.

The Byatarayanapura traffic police, who are struggling to manage the traffic on the road, said vehicle movement between Hosaguddadahalli junction and KIMCO junction has been blocked and vehicles coming towards the city and moving out have been diverted from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. till Sunday.

According to the police the worst affected are the buses from the satellite bus-stand. Vehicles coming from Sirsi Circle have been directed to take left turn at Hosaguddadahalli pass through Timber Yard, Muneshwara Block, and Hosakerehalli to reach the Ring Road and proceed further.

Heavy vehicles coming towards the city should take left turn compulsorily at Mysuru Road-Ring Road junction to enter the city. Other vehicles coming towards the city should take left turn at KIMCO junction and proceed further, an official release said.
