A festive atmosphere will pervade Shivajinagar and surrounding areas on Saturday when all roads lead to the St. Mary’s Basilica as the Feast Day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary culminates.

Lakhs of people of various faiths will converge here for the celebration, which will culminate in the car procession where the statue of Mother Mary will be taken out in a procession.

The annual 10-day feast began on August 29 with the hoisting of the flag.
