Traffic disrupted by pipeline work

November 29, 2014 06:37 pm | Updated 06:37 pm IST - Bengaluru

Traffic on the busy K.H. Road, Residency Road and J.C. Road was disrupted for many hours due to the ongoing pipeline work undertaken by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage board on Saturday.

Hundreds of motorists were caught in the traffic jams for hours when vehicles from several routes were forced to take K.H. Road , leading to a major traffic snarl.

Additional traffic policemen have been deployed to ease the situation by diverting traffic to adjacent roads since the problem is going to persist for another week, a senior police officer said.
