There was traffic jam between Sirsi Circle and Mysuru Road flyover - Bodybuilders Junction on Tuesday evening leaving several commuters in distress.

The jam was caused by civil works carried out jointly by BBMP and BWSSB a few metres from the Christian graveyard on Mysuru Road after residents complained about overflowing sewage.

Traffic movement slowed down, particularly during the peak rush hour starting 7 p.m. Sudheer Bhat, who was travelling by that junction, tweeted: “Massive jam on Mysuru Road towards satellite bus stand. Stuck for 20 minutes and no sign of it clearing. Very slow moving traffic on Mysuru Road flyover towards satellite bus stand. Not sure why?”

With several people not informed of the ongoing civil work, the jam caused inconvenience to several commuters who were returning home from work.
