Traffic disrupted in Kolar

June 08, 2017 01:18 pm | Updated 01:18 pm IST - Kolar

Vehicular movement in the town was disrupted for some time on Thursday following an agitation by Communist Party of India (Marxist) members at KSRTC bus stand circle.

The protest was staged condemning the ruckus created by two allegedly right-wing functionaries at CPI (M) head quarters in New Delhi on Wednesday right before general secretary Sitaram Yechury was about to address a media conference. The protesters held RSS responsible for the incident and said people will not tolerate such ‘goondaism.’
