Three youths, who were travelling on a motorcycle were killed on the spot were when their vehicle collided with a BMTC bus at Shettyhalli on Tumkur Road here on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Vinod Raj (20), D’Souza (17) and Antony (16).
Believing the accident was caused because of the negligence of the bus driver, local people went on a rampage and stoned the bus. They also staged a flash protest and blocked the road for over two hours causing a traffic jam. The police had to resort to baton charge to disperse the mob. The bus driver and conductor fled the spot.
