The police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Sathish, who was allegedly stabbed to death by a gang in Devara Jeevana Halli.

The accused have been identified as Arun alias Khunya, John and Prabha, all residents of D.J. Halli. According to the police, the gang, comprising five members, led by Khunya, went to Srinivasanagar in search of Karthik. However, when they did not find him, they questioned his friend, Sathish, regarding Karthik’s whereabouts.

When Sathish tried to settle the issue in a peaceful manner, an enraged Khunya allegedly stabbed him to death. Another friend of Sathish, identified as Rajan, was also injured during the attack and is undergoing treatment.

It all started on Sunday over a petty argument regarding a cricket match played between the gang and some residents of Srinivasanagar, including Karthik.
