The Wilson Garden police have arrested three persons for robbing a Tamil Nadu-based scrap dealer of Rs. 10 lakh cash in October, 2014.

The accused, Ayaz Pasha knew about Pannalivelu’s (the victim) business transaction and planned to rob him.

As per the plan, Ayaz along with Asif, Shakeel and two others intercepted Pannalivelu at Diary Circle when he was returning home in his car with the cash after selling scrap. The gang attacked him with knife and sped away with the cash.

The Wilson Garden police registered a case and during investigations found out that Ayaz, working in the scrap yard, had been mysteriously missing since the robbery. Police have been on a look-out for him since then and finally picked him up on Monday.
