Thousands pay tribute to Rajkumar

The Dr. Rajkumar Memorial at Kanteerava Studio here turned out to be a ‘pilgrimage centre’ of sorts on Friday, with thousands paying tribute to the late actor on his 87t{+h}birth anniversary. His wife Parvathamma Rajkumar planted a neem sapling near the memorial and the late thespian’s sons Shivrajkumar, Raghavendra and Puneeth called upon fans to do the same. The crowd looked on while a helicopter flew above the memorial, showering flower petals and garla-nds. Various fans organisations held blood donation camps to mark the occasion.
