The Fire and Emergency Services personnel, who are engaged in carrying out rescue operations at the multi-storeyed building in Someshwara Nagar, whose ground floor had collapsed on Monday, found the third body on Tuesday.

With this, the toll in the tragedy has risen to three. The third victim has been identified as Paswan.

The authorities had found two bodies in the rubble on Monday evening – that of Niranjan and Nagamma. The body of Nagamma, a native of Manvi in Raichur district, however, could not be retrieved till Tuesday evening as it was stuck between concrete slabs, authorities said.

The children of Nagamma, meanwhile, have filed a complaint with the Siddapura police against the builder and contractor responsible for the death of their mother.
