A computer engineer, Sri Krishna (36) cherished hopes of starting his own business and had recently moved to Hyderabad. The Chitradurga native had come to Bangalore, a city where he once worked, to discuss his venture, and was returning to Hyderabad in the ill-fated bus. A close associate, who had seen him off at Anand Rao Circle, where he boarded the bus, said Sri Krishna’s body was identified by his wife Rashmi after seeing his wedding ring.
Sri Krishna’s father Naganna, who is in his seventies and the State president of the Kadu Gollara Sangha, has left for Hyderabad. His sister Meena is in shock and has reportedly been hospitalised.

Brothers Asif Ahmed (26) and Shaqib Ahmed (28), who were in the automobile spare parts business here in BTM Layout, had set off to Hyderabad on Tuesday night to buy some items required for their shop, their younger brother Mutheeb Ahmed said.
They were residents of Guruppanapalya in BTM 1st Stage.
One of them was supposed to have got married soon, the family said.
Tragedy hits celebration
Chandrashekhar (41), a farmer from Maralawadi village in Kanakapura, had left for Hyderabad eager to see his newborn daughter. His neighbour said Chandrashekhar’s wife Swathi had given birth just two weeks ago and was at her parents’ house in Hyderabad, and he was going to visit.
