Students belonging to schools that are part of The Hindu in School (THiS) programme have all fared well and passed the SSLC examination.
These schools have been producing 100 per cent pass rate in the past. At Prasiddhi School, Vasanthnagar, nine students secured distinctions. Shraiya Gupta and Jyotsna Kumari, who secured 94 per cent aggregate, are the school toppers.
“I organised my preparation by making notes on various topics. Last minute work never pays off for me. My teachers helped me with my preparation. Studying everyday takes away the last minute anxiety and builds confidence,” said Shraiya. She also added that she never compromised on health and sleep. “My teachers and the extra activities at school were really helpful,” said Jyotsna.
At SBM Blossoms School, Kanakapura, of the 43 students, 38 students got first class. Vibha Reddy, who secured 93.28 per cent, emerged school topper. “It feels extremely great to be the school topper,” said an exhilarated Vibha.
Jeevan with 92.16 per cent and Humera Banu with 89.76 per cent have come second and third, respectively.
At Bertrand Russell English Medium School, Baikampady, Mangalore, too, all students have successfully completed their SSLC.
Reshma Nair of SSB International School, Indiranagar, scored 95 per cent to become the school topper. V. Shekar, who scored 93 per cent, and Sandhya V. with 92 per cent are the second and third toppers in the school.
