Want to have a peep into the hustle and bustle of the chaotic Russell Market, the classy Bangalore Club and iconic eating joints in the city as they were in the 1970s? View it from the creative lens of cartoonist Paul Fernandes.

Bangalore plays muse to Paul Fernandes, whose exhibition of cartoons titled “Bangalore – Swinging in the 70s” will open at the Indian Institute of Cartoonists on March 22.

Born and brought up in the Cantonment area, he worked in the advertisement industry before shifting focus in running his own gallery ‘Apaulogy’. Mr. Fernandes has illustrated a number of books.

The exhibition will be inaugurated at 11 a.m. at the Indian Cartoon Gallery, Midford Garden, by noted photographer Ponappa Subbaiah and will be open to the public up to April 8.
