IMPACT: MLA promises more lights

Following complaints of lack of adequate lighting on some stretches in the Central Business District, Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris has promised to remedy the situation. Residents, especially women, had complained about the difficulty in walking on roads, such as the one between Anil Kumble Circle and BRV Junction as we well as from Lavelle Road junction towards Minsk Square, due to inadequate lighting. “We will inspect these stretches and lights will be added wherever necessary,” Mr. Haris said.
