Ten injured in a bus accident in Bangalore

Ten persons were injured when a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus rammed into a roadside tree near here on Saturday, police said.

The mishap occurred when the driver tried to avoid hitting a pedestrian, police said.

Nine persons, including the driver and conductor, who suffered minor injuries were treated as out-patients in a government hospital.

The pedestrian, who was also injured, was admitted to the same hospital and is stated to be “out of danger”, police said.
