A software engineer was robbed of her valuables by an autorikshaw driver and his associate in Mico Layout police station limit on tuesday.
Acording to the police officials, the victim Madhumita boarded the auto at around 6.30 p.m. near her office in JP Nagar to return home. After a while another person joined the driver before the auto stopped at an isolated place. The duo dragged her out and slapped her and threatened with dire consequences against shouting.
Later, the duo robbed her gold chain bracelet and mobile phone along with other valuables, the police officials added.
The victim managed to reach the police station and filed a complaint.
