A 32-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband over a domestic row in Talaghattapura on Wednesday.

The deceased identified as Vasanthamma, who worked as a beautician, married Muniraju, an autorikshaw driver, 15 years ago. The couple have two sons, aged 10 and seven. The children had gone to their grandparents house for summer vacation, when the murder took place.

According to the police, Vasanthamma would get objectionable messages on her phone and when Muniraju saw these messages, he began suspecting her fidelity. They would have frequent fights.

On Wednesday night, following a similar message the couple fought. Enraged Muniraju took a table knife and stabbed Vasanthamma repeatedly, killing her on the spot.

The Talaghattapura police have arrested Muniraju and are investigating further.
