The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has collected Rs. 592.37 crore as prorate charges between April 2015 and March 2016 from 15,282 new houses and from 7,056 houses for which connections were given earlier.

Sri Ramanavami music festival
Sri Vani Kala Kendra, the Cultural Centre of Sri Vani Education Centre, is organising its 25{+t}{+h}Sri Ramanavami Music Festival from April 8 to May 8. Speaking to presspersons on Tuesday, Kalakendra convenor M. Lakshmikeshava said the 31-day programme will feature nearly 200 artistes performing Carnatic and Hindustani vocal recital, dance ballet, Namasankeerthana, Yakshagana and devotional songs.
