Suggestions to Sushma

April 05, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - Bengaluru:

Ravi Kumar T. was thrilled to receive a call from Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj congratulating him on his return. She told him that 320 Indians would arrive in India on Saturday and 600 on Sunday.

Mr. Kumar, in return, told the Minister about how the Indian Embassy in Yemen could be more efficient in future.

He urged her to keep the database of Indians arriving in Yemen updated at the embassy so it could act faster during emergencies.

He had earlier said that the embassy should issue travel advisories much in advance of a crisis. He said, “I am extremely happy that Ms. Swaraj made a personal call to a simple man like me.”
