A 22-year-old youth was stabbed to death by a gang, allegedly over a tiff over his friend’s girlfriend, in Malleswaram police limits on Tuesday night.
Ajay B, a first year B.com student and a resident of Electronics City, along with his friend Charan reportedly had a tiff with Vinay Kumar, a resident of Vyalikaval, over Charan's girlfriend. The police said that Charan’s girlfriend had earlier broken up with Vinay, following which Vinay was allegedly harassing her. On Monday, Ajay, Charan and a few others went to Vinay's house and warned him not to harass the girl.
Vinay Kumar along with his friend, Rakesh, and others went after Ajay and found him along with his friends on Margosa Road, where they attacked them. While Charan and others managed to escape, Ajay was stabbed on the chest.
